Joyful Summer Engagement Photos at Palmer Park, Colorado Springs

If you are dreaming of taking your Engagement Photos at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs, here is some inspiration for you! Eva and Daniel wanted summer engagement photos to use for their wedding invitations. We met at the highest point in Palmer Park in Colorado Springs to get those epic mountain views. We took photos along the winding dirt path with some Colorado sunflowers in bloom.

A Late July Engagement Session

For the first 10 minutes of the session, some rain was sprinkling, dappling Daniel’s linen shirt. Thankfully, it didn’t turn into a real rain shower. We got to finish the session as the sun dropped a little lower in the sky. Rain is not usually a problem for Colorado engagement photos, but those July afternoons are the most common times for rain showers. Some of my favorite photos are the ones of them sitting next to each other on the winding dirt path. There’s something so romantic and timeless about these.

This was truly such a fun engagement session where Daniel and Eva were completely comfortable in front of the camera. They freely showed their true love and affection for each other. The two of them had a lot of fun traipsing around the sunflowers and walking along one of the trails while I gave them gentle prompts. They took each prompt and ran with it, creating natural looking photos where you can see their delight in each other on full display. I have also taken maternity and senior photos in addition to engagement photos at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs. It offers a beautiful back drop for any type of session.
