Black Forest by Wedgewood Wedding Reception

If you’re interested in booking Black Forest by Wedgewood in Colorado for your wedding reception, this blog will give you a good glimpse into what an evening reception can look like at this beautiful venue. Sarah and Rex had their wedding ceremony at Holy Apostles Catholic church in the early afternoon but wanted a big venue for their dinner and dancing reception. They chose Black Forest because of it’s proximity, the ease of planning, and its flexibility. The couple was able to book it just for the evening reception instead of all day. They loved that they were able to bring homemade desserts (including the wedding cake made by Sarah’s mom!).

Before we get to the reception photos, I have to include a few shots from the party bus beforehand. That’s where the party really started!

The bridal party entered with so much joy. Sarah and Rex went straight into their first dance as husband and wife, impressing everyone with their choreographed dance!

After their dance, everyone ate some delicious brisket for dinner and the couple took some time to mingle with their guests. The maids of honor (Sarah’s sisters) and the best man gave some rousing speeches. The happy couple cut the cake, and the rest of the night was for dancing! The guests had a great time celebrating Sarah and Rex.

Truly, it was such a wonderful night celebrating the newlyweds at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings. To see more from the wedding and reception, check out the curated gallery. If you’re looking for your photographer for your wedding in Colorado, reach out today!
